The Greenprint is a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to building a platform where people have fun, learn essential skills, and co-create communities that overcome systemic barriers.

Utilizing gameplay, we help communities work collectively toward solving issues like social injustice, affordable housing, food insecurity, climate change, and economic inequality. The Greenprint Game allows people to see the impact of their planning decisions in real-time while taking ownership of the choices and solutions made.

With the support of donations and grants, The Greenprint Game will be available to users on mobile, desktop, and VR.

Our primary mission at The Greenprint is to pioneer sustainable community development, beginning with our inaugural project in Georgetown, South Carolina. Through The Greenprint Game, we aim to harness the collective imagination and local knowledge of the community to co-create a blueprint for our first micro neighborhood. This game is not just about play; it's a critical tool for engaging residents in the urban planning process, ensuring that the future neighborhood reflects the values, identity, and needs of those who will live there.

With every interaction on the gaming platform, we gather valuable data and insights that guide the design of sustainable communities that truly cater to the needs of their residents. This collaborative process ensures that our blueprints are crafted from a blend of expert research and genuine community input, laying a solid foundation for the construction of a pilot neighborhood in The West End of Georgetown by 2025.

Our goal as a 501c3 nonprofit is not only to raise the necessary funds for this groundbreaking project but also to replicate this model in other global game sites in the future.

our gaming academy

In 2023 we launched The Greenprint Gaming Academy, where we empower the next generation of innovators and problem solvers through the exciting world of game design.

Our courses blend the thrill of gaming with real-world applications in sustainability and urban planning, providing students from second grade and up with the skills to code, collaborate, and create digital experiences that make a difference.

Here, learning comes alive as students take on the role of developers, using their creativity and critical thinking to build games that can change the world.
